Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Florida license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: AMN Program - AdventHealth West Florida and no current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - AdventHealth West Florida.

Unit / Facility Details: Social Security Card (SSN Trace) is required

Special Requests: Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

You must take a 6 month break between staff and travel for ALL AdventHealth facilities.

Pre-Shift Huddle is Required (15 Mins) & Can Be Clocked-In For

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Floating Requirement: All orders require to float to Sebring, Lake Placid, and Wauchula as needed for staffing and other departments within their skill levels

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 references from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
