INTERNAL MEDICINE

PATIENT-CENTERED MEDICAL HOME LEVEL III

In April 2015, Big Horn Mountain Medicine received NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home Level III (PCMH) recognition for using evidence-based, patient-centered processes that focus on highly coordinated care and long-term, participative relationships. The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home is a model of primary care that combines teamwork and information technology to improve care, improve the patient experience of care and reduce costs. 2016 WOMEN’S CHOICE AWARD

AMERICA’S BEST HOSPITALS EMERGENCY CARE

The Women’s Choice Award demonstrates that we deliver a level of patient satisfaction that patients and their families can count on. The achievement is based on the eight measures publicly reported by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, then weighted by women surveyed.

2016 HOSPICE HONORS

Hospice of the Big Horns was named a 2016 Hospice HONORS Recipient by Deyta Analytics, a division of HEALTHCAREfirst. This award recognizes hospices providing the highest level of quality as measured from the caregiver's point of view.  The award was based on survey results from the Hospice section of the HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) survey.  Hospice HONORS recipients scored above the Deyta National Average on twenty of the evaluated questions, including the "willingness to recommend" question.

2016 MOST WIRED

In 2016, Sheridan Memorial Hospital received recognition as one of only two healthcare entities in Wyoming awarded the 2016 Most Wired designation from Hospitals & Health Networks (H&HN).  Most Wired® designation stems from a survey and benchmarking study conducted by H&HN, in cooperation with the American Hospital Association and Health Forum. The study is recognized as a leading industry barometer measuring information technology (IT) use and adoption among hospitals nationwide. This year's study results indicate information technology is improving the efficiency of healthcare delivery and creating a new dynamic in patient interactions.
