RFGH is seeking a per diem Respiratory Therapist. The respiratory therapist is responsible for providing various therapeutic and diagnostic modalities. This role is diverse, requiring a broad base of technical skills and mechanical ability relative to the patient's age-specific requirements. The therapist will perform patient education and participate in quality assurance surveys. Must be able to work alone and independently in emergency situations. Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as well as 12 hour call rotations for coverage and transports required. State of Maine Respiratory Therapy License and RRT required. BLS, ACLS & PALS and NRP certified required, or able to obtain certification within an allotted amount of time. One to two years of experience with blood gas skills preferred.
