To provide mammographic images of the highest technical quality with minimal supervision in a timely manner in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease in patients. The incumbent review x-ray requests, physician orders or patients chart to assure that correct procedures are requested, introduce themselves to patient, document patient history, explains, and answers questions about mammogram procedures. Ensure diagnostic excellence. Practice radiation safety measures to prevent injury to patient. Secure and maintain supplies with care to help control cost and avoid delays.
