Medical Records Technician

Scheduled weekly hours for this position are Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm.
Performs technical skills associated with medical record procedures.
Copies and mails pertinent portions of medical records while ensuring patient confidentiality.
Preps, scans, indexes, analyzes, and maintains complete medical records.
Quality checks medical records for Accuracy.
Maintains retention standards.
Assists with reviewing requests for release of medical information for proper authorization as needed.
Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician - Per Diem
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician or Senior Technician! This per diem role is responsible for all acute care functions such as sterile and non-sterile compounding as well as distributive functions. Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems, and prepares compounds within scope of practice.
Provides advanced level of support to peers, pharmacists, internal and external customers. Assists in new policy and procedure development and implementation, as well as staff mentoring and training.
Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy and other service departments. Assists in monitoring and performing various quality tasks to assure regulatory compliance.
WIC Nutrition Educator
Nutrition Educators provide evidence-based nutrition/ health and breastfeeding education and counseling to WIC eligible clients; determine nutritional /medical risks and issue WIC food benefits. Nutrition Educators also assist in daily operations of office including client /staff issues, and vendor issues, as well as fostering community outreach through collaborations with community programs that impact WIC clients.
This is a 36hr/week position with core hours of 8:00a-4:30p & will include 1 evening shift a month.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Licensed or Registered Dietary Technician preferred.
An Associate's degree as Dietary Technician or Bachelor's Degree in a related field that includes nutrition courses preferred.
Valid state of Maine Driver's license and acceptable driving record required.

RFGH is seeking a per diem Respiratory Therapist. The respiratory therapist is responsible for providing various therapeutic and diagnostic modalities. This role is diverse, requiring a broad base of technical skills and mechanical ability relative to the patient's age-specific requirements. The therapist will perform patient education and participate in quality assurance surveys. Must be able to work alone and independently in emergency situations. Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as well as 12 hour call rotations for coverage and transports required. State of Maine Respiratory Therapy License and RRT required. BLS, ACLS & PALS and NRP certified required, or able to obtain certification within an allotted amount of time. One to two years of experience with blood gas skills preferred.
Represents organization in all patient settings serving as a liaison. Performs key pre-analytical functions such as specimen collection, phlebotomy, specimen processing, and order entry.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High School Diploma/GED.
