Responsibilities In this role, you will be expected to exhibit exceptional in vivo skills with primary responsibilities include development of preclinical models of disease in oncology (e.g. xenografts, orthotopic, PDX) and fibrosis (e.g. bleomycin and bile duct ligation). Additionally, the you will be responsible for dose administration (tail vein i.v., i.p., p.o., and i.t.) of both therapeutics and radioactive molecules and tissue collection for subsequent downstream assessment including histopathology, autoradiography, and flow cytometry. You will execute preclinical (PET/SPECT/CT/Optical) imaging studies in collaboration with the imaging center. You will also be responsible for ordering supplies and maintaining sufficient stock of reagents/supplies as needed, ensuring compliance with animal care and use protocols (ARC and DLM), and assisting with safety regulations including radiation safety, biosafety, and chemical safety.
