The Emergency Department Technician participates in the provision of nursing care by performing basic activities of patient care and related support services as delegated by the licensed nurse. Qualifications Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Also must meet one of the following: Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Completion of a nurse assistant program or minimum 1-2 years’ experience EMT certification Documented experience as military medic Successful completion of fundamentals of nursing course Experience: Has worked with patients, families, physicians, and other health care providers preferred.
