The Oral Anticancer Education Pharmacist is responsible for providing education to patients starting oral anticancer agents in the home setting. The pharmacist will work collaboratively with other disciplines to optimize the pharmaceutical care of these patients and to ensure that patients receive follow-up monitoring to assess adherence and toxicity. The pharmacist will also participate in the development of workflow design, teaching documents, education and/or monitoring tools, and other initiatives that will improve and/or expand the program. In addition, the pharmacist will train new staff to the program and the PGY2 oncology pharmacy residents during their OAT rotation. The oral anticancer teach pharmacist will perform the day-to-day operations necessary to ensure that patients are contacted and taught in a timely manner.
This position is fully remote. Employees must reside in MA, NH or RI.
