Responsibilities In this role, you will support a high volume dynamic Surgical Bariatric Care Team. Develop a nutritional care plan for the bariatric patient from pre-surgery to long term post-op. Provide pre-op educational classes for the surgical candidate, evaluate inpatient nutrition, be a resource for post-op patients, and assist in facilitating post op support groups. Apply current research findings in clinical care and participate in applied research as appropriate. Interact with all health care team members. Qualifications Required: Current Registered Dietitian License Master of Science in Human Nutrition Knowledge of research protocols in an outpatient setting Ability to perform patient assessments and take appropriate action Skill at effectively communicating with patients, physicians, staff and the public Skill at speaking to persons with various backgrounds to obtain information, explain procedures and interpret instructions Skill in setting priorities...
