Responsible for receiving, controlling, storing and accurately issuing items stored in inventory (stock). Generates purchase orders to receive goods, prints out requisitions from all departments, issues back orders to departments, completes department transfers to department and adds and deletes items on standard requisitions to departments. Performs other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED Required.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 Year of materials management work experience. Must be knowledgeable about general warehouse procedures such as receiving, storing and issuing supplies.
COMPUTER EXPERIENCE: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and data entry experience. Understanding of and experience using a computer managed inventory system.
OTHER: Valid NC Drivers License. Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record. Required to drive hospital truck or van for deliveries between campuses.
