Responsibilities As the Hospital Collections Customer Service Representative, you will: · Serve as a primary source for customer service assistance and ensuring customer satisfaction · Handle a high volume of incoming customer service calls in a call-center environment · Research and distribution of incoming correspondence and respond to phone and written inquiries from patients, insurance companies, third party payers, governmental agencies · Demonstrate a positive demeanor, good verbal and written communication skills, and must be professional in both appearance and approach · Perform duties in the patient accounting systems · Special projects to include bad debt assignments, financial assistance program and self-pay work list completing assigned workload within established time frame Note: This posted position is 1 of 4 positions available for hire.
