Provides laboratory customer service support via telephone to physician offices, patients, patient care areas and other CaroMont departments.   Telephone services include test availability, specimen requirements, and test results.  Also performs a variety of clerical duties including patient registration, order management, specimen receipt, labeling, pre-analytical processing, specimen distribution and result distribution.  Exceptional accuracy required while working with multiple computer applications. Assures operating suite is adequately prepared for procedure. Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities. Provide medical nutrition therapy in acute and long term care for CaroMont Regional Medical Center patients. Act as a nutrition resource for patients and staff. Assist with meeting departmental standards for clinical nutrition by providing evidenced based practice care. Coordinate services with multidisciplinary teams as necessary. Participate in nutrition-related community outreach activities. Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university majoring in Food & Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
