Provides psychosocial assessments, plans and implements various counseling, conducts and coordinates discharge planning for complex cases and participates in multidisciplinary team process. Victims of domestic violence, child and adult neglect and abuse, adoptions and other DSS issues shall be the Social Worker responsibility. The discharge planning service integrates the clinical with financial. Psychosocial and legal components, and identifies internal and external barriers that prevent desirable patient outcomes. The Social Worker shall provide education and resource identification while providing quality service with cost reduction in mind. Must be knowledgeable with State and Federal laws as they pertain to adult and child abuse reporting, adoptions and domestic violence. The Social Worker shall take call after hours, weekends and holidays. To set up and manage various types of respiratory therapy equipment including the various oxygen delivery systems, nebulizers, , BiPAP/CPAPs, and mechanical ventilation. Manage protocols and administer prescribed doses of respiratory therapy inhaled drugs to inpatients and outpatients. Ability to perform arterial sticks for blood gas analysis and various bedside procedures to assess pulmonary status.  Qualifications:   Completion of an approved respiratory therapy program and licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the state of North Carolina. The RRT credential is required for employment. Considerable knowledge of respiratory care, terminology, procedures, and techniques.
