Performs variety of key secretarial duties. Direct correspondence with patients, patient family members, radiologist and other physicians, staff and visitors. Can understand and support operations at the front desk and radiologist reading area for multiple facility locations. To perform various obstetrical ultrasound procedures, including education and preparation of patient. Operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.   Qualifications:   Certificate in Medical Diagnostic Sonography required.  RDMS registered preferred, required within the first year of hire.  On-going participation in continuing education. Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography as well as breast localizations and specimen x-ray.  Assist with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures.  Meet MQSA and ACR requirements.  Maintain < 2.5% repeat rate.  Perform spot magnification and compression views as needed.  Properly place films on multiviewer for interpretation.  Maintain accurate complete information /records for MQSA and ACR.  Enter data into Radiology information systems.    Qualifications:  Graduate of accredited radiography program. Registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography.
