Athletics Communications and Public Relations Assistant

The University of Kentucky Athletics Communications and Public Relations Office is seeking a CPR Assistant Intern. This position will be a 12-month appointment working with a variation of the following sports: women’s soccer, track and field, swimming and diving, women’s tennis and women’s basketball with the option for renewal for the 2022-2023 year at the discretion of the Athletics Communications and Public Relations Office. Specific duties include but are not limited to: writing, editing and designing press releases for UK athletic contests, special events, teams coaches and student athletes; responsible for production of media guides and media materials; assist in the overall communication and maintenance of athletics website (www.ukathletics.com); assist and significantly contribute to the department’s social media communication efforts; assist in game day operations working with event management in producing successful events; creatively come up with story feature ideas to...
