Job Description


  • Position Summary
    • Partners with leadership, managers, staff and clinicians to implement and facilitate activities associated with performance improvement. Leads projects to design, develop, modify and implement healthcare delivery systems with enhanced quality, safety and value. Coaches staff, managers, and clinicians about change management, and data driven problem solving to promote deeper understanding of opportunities for improvement. Serves as a system-wide resource for applying performance improvement and project management theory and techniques.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    1. Education: High school diploma with at least five years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting OR associate’s degree with at least three years of relevant experience required. Formal performance improvement training at the Green Belt level or equivalent preferred.
    2. License/Certifications: Project management certification preferred.
    3. Experience: See "Education." Experience in project-related data analysis preferred.
    4. Familiarity with basic performance improvement tools and concepts, e.g., plan-do-study-act, required
    5. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint or equivalent required
    6. Effective verbal and written communication skills
    7. Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
    8. Collaborative and team oriented
