Music Therapist

$60,335.46/yr

 

Ancora State Psychiatric Hospital is seeking an experienced Therapist of Music as a member of the therapeutic treatment team that plans, develops implements, and conducts music therapy by applying the elements of musical experience with individuals in a purposeful and systematic way to help them to establish, improve, or modify specific emotional, social, and physical responses essential to the realization of that individual's fullest potential. This therapy is relevant to the design of positive interventions and supports within a multidisciplinary mental health setting serving a diverse adult population with severe and persistent mental illness.

 

All applicants must be MT-BC Board Certified.
