Registered Dietitian will evaluate patient for appropriateness of tube placement, ensure safe and timely placement of Cortrak feeding tubes, and document all aspects of tube placement. They will participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team; assign and direct workload of diet technicians; and participate in unit, department and/or facility committees, work groups, and projects. This position will be based at Chandler Hospital, but will also provide services to Kentucky Children’s Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital. Feeding Tube Team Dietitians will provide service alongside a Diet Technician from 7am to 7:30pm daily. Members will be expected to work approximately every third or fourth weekend and holiday. The ideal candidate will either have experience placing feeding tubes using the Cortrak2 Enteral Access System or be willing to learn with appropriate training.
