Provide positive care solutions within an award-winning health system. Grow your career while enhancing quality of life for those most in need. Leverage your expertise to make a real difference in the community. You can do all this and more at UCLA Health.
You will provide direct-patent care as you work with patients one-to-one and facilitate psychotherapy groups for patients enrolled in our Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital's Partial Hospitalization Program. This will involve providing psychosocial assessment, care coordination, consultation, and psychotherapeutic treatment. As a Clinical Social Worker you will facilitate group psychotherapy using evidence based treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, and ACT. Patients are assigned to either a general track or a thought disorder track based on their symptoms and diagnosis. The general track has two options: a telehealth Intensive Outpatient Program and an onsite program; the thought disorder track meets onsite. Patients are voluntary and attend the program for approximately 6-8 weeks.
