$2500 Sign-on Bonus!

The Mammography Technologist will utilize equipment that produces ionizing radiation to obtain radiographs for diagnostic purposes according to policies, procedures, and protocols of the KSC Radiology Department and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. Imaging services vary by site, therefore, rotation through general diagnostic radiography using fluoroscopic and/or digital radiography systems and/or conventional radiography units utilizing CR technology as well as DEXA bone density studies and performance of stereotactic guided biopsies may be required depending on location. The Mammography Technologist will utilize the designated Radiology Information System (RIS) to complete clerical processes and the designated PACS system for stereotactic and DEXA studies.

NOTE: This position will also perform some X-rays

Qualifications include:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Graduate from AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • 40 hours of Mammography Training (if no Mammography work experience)
  • AART, MRT, BCLS (issued by American Heart Association)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Preferences include:

  • Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Previous experience as a mammography technologist
  • Experience performing stereotactic guided breast biopsies
  • Bilingual skills


8am - 5pm, Monday-Friday
