Be a part of a great team! We are seeking a RN Post Surgical Unit Department for a PRN Night schedule. This is a great opportunity for an experienced RN seeking to supplement hours elsewhere or simply work a more flexible schedule.
Responsible for providing professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients. Demonstrates the ability to perform a concise nursing assessment and reassesses and documents the proposed revision of interventions and desired outcomes. Responsible to document all nursing care in all assigned patient records. Demonstrates ability to assess patient and/or significant other's understanding of and compliance with instructions and health care teaching. Maintains patient's privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times. Notifies appropriate nursing and medical staff to changes in the patient status. Provides direct care to assigned patients.
Associates Degree required; Bachelors Degree preferred
Current Texas RN license required
Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year RN experience required
