Job Description

We are expanding services which brings new career opportunities including the addition of another Clinical Pharmacist to our team! To assist in the provision of 24 hour pharmaceutical coverage, we are seeking motivated, well-qualified Pharmacists to coordinate the safe, accurate, and rational distribution and utilization of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages. This individual will serve as a resource for pharmaceutical information for clinical staff throughout the hospital. Pharmacy services include but are not limited to assessing patient needs, incorporating age and disease specific characteristics into drug therapy and patient education, adjusting care according to patient response, and providing clinical interventions to detect, mitigate, and prevent medication adverse events. Participation in the quality management program is expected with the goal of improving services by monitoring processes, analyzing data, implementing interventions to improve and evaluating the effectiveness of those interventions. Additional responsibilities include: Safely manages the environment of care. Demonstrates sound financial knowledge and management. Builds and maintains strategic relationships. Vital member of clinical care delivery teams. Builds customer loyalty among physicians, employees and community. Possesses exceptional level of professional knowledge in clinical area of expertise. This is an night shift position and will include alternating weekends in a 7 on/7 off capacity. Schedule: weekdays 9pm-7am and weekends 7p-7a Requirements  Degree required; Pharm D preferred TSBP license 1-3 years clinical experience required Sterile Product Preparation Certification Requires knowledge of Federal, State and required regulatory agency standards related to health care organizations. Cognitive and technical knowledge and ability to progressively manage clinical care delivery. The ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information both verbally and in writing required; as is the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken and written work. Must be flexible with work scheduling. Involves discretion and independent action within prescribed limits.
