Venice Family Clinic is a community health center whose mission is “To provide quality primary health care to people in need.” Venice Family Clinic cares for over 27,000 low-income patients in over 120,000 visits annually who might otherwise go without critically needed health care services. Venice Family Clinic has fourteen locations with over 420 staff, 1,300 volunteers, and a budget of $70 million. We provide high quality, comprehensive primary and specialty health care, dental, mental health, substance use treatment and child development services to underserved individuals and families on the Westside of Los Angeles.
In this role, you will coordinate the delivery of health care services to patients in a primary health care clinic. You will provide administrative support to medical providers and medical staff, discharge patients after medical visits, arrange for follow-up appointments, and process referrals for Medi-Cal, Medicare, Managed Care and County. You will request authorizations using the Web Portal and E-consult and perform data collection and extensive patient tracking and follow-up care.
