Under direct supervision of Sr. Staff Pharmacist Supervisor (340B Program), the Pharmacy Technician III – 340B Auditor will provide oversight and maintenance of the 340B split billing software and other TPAs used for contract pharmacies. Reconcile 340B purchases and invoices for contracted pharmacies to ensure revenues and expenses are properly allocated to corresponding accounts. Assure that the 340B transaction assignments are completed and that 340B contracted pharmacy compliance audits are competed and up to date. Prepare for HRSA audit, annual mock audits and gather and provide requested data prior to an audit.
Position is 100% onsite.
CA Pharmacy Technician License - Required
Working knowledge of the 340B program, including State and Federal rules and regulations - Preferred
Experience and knowledge of EPIC Care Connect EMR - Preferred
Pharmacy technician experience
Outpatient retail pharmacy experience
Advanced technical computer skills as required for technical support specific to functional area. Computer skill including proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications which may include Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Experience in data analytics and auditing
Knowledge of pharmaceutical generic and trade names and their dosage forms, and the ability to cross-reference the most common drugs from memory.
Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical abbreviations.
Ability to work independently and follow-through on assignments with minimal supervision.
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Telephone and verbal skills required to communicate clearly and effectively with pharmacists, nurses, physicians and other allied health professionals.
