Summary
Southern Maine Health Care, a member of the MaineHealth system, is seeking a Board Certified Obstetrician Gynecologist with leadership experience to join their team in Biddeford, Maine.
Southern Maine Health Care (SMHC) is a non-profit, full-service community hospital with 125 acute care beds. The physician will join our growing group, currently composed of 6 generalists and 2 advanced care providers, who provide inpatient care in labor and delivery at Southern Maine Health Care as well as care at our outpatient location at 9 HealthCare Drive in Biddeford. Leadership experience is a must in this role with significant clinical experience (5 to 10 years) and a track record of successful leadership in a health system environment.
SMHC has a strong connection with the University of New England medical school with third year medical students participating in rotations in OBGYN in addition to our other specialties.
