Your role:  
The LincolnHealth Infusion Services department is seeking a confident, team oriented experienced RN to join our team. We are a newly renovated hospital-based outpatient center with four infusion chairs and one provider exam room. Our department is patient focused, fast-paced, and thrives on a teamwork approach. The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, as well as an ability to multitask in providing care for infusion patients. Attention to detail is essential for this role, as nurses will be delivering chemotherapy, biotherapy, and broad array of infusion therapy drugs.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

    1. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
    2. License/Certifications: Current licensure on the State of Maine Board of Nursing.  Current BLS Certification.
    3. Experience: Two years of nursing experience with one year of chemotherapy/oncology nursing preferred.  Chemotherapy administration experience preferred.
    4. ONS Provider card preferred or obtained within 3 months of hire.
    5. ONC certification preferred.
    6. Articulates elements of professional practice and demonstrates:
      • Knowledge of Evidence Based Practice and
      • Patient and Family Centered Care
      • Understanding of teamwork and collaboration
      • Effective verbal/written communication skills
      • Knowledge of process improvement and sound safety strategies
      • Competence with computer applications
    7. Completion of departmental competencies within one month of hire
    8. Completion of Infusion Services CBO tool, to include chemotherapy/biotherapy, within one year of hire.
