For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $5,000 sign on for New Grad Registered Nurses, $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible experienced Registered Nurses with 1-3 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 3 years of experience!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Your role:  
We are looking for a compassionate and caring RN to join our team. The successful candidate will be able to safely care for the OB patient population, including labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. This includes triage and care of the pregnant patient and the ability to respond rapidly to urgent and emergent situations and prioritize care using critical thinking skills. The RN will work within the model of Safe Family Centered Care, and collaborate with the health care team to develop a plan of care, reassess effectiveness as needed, and meet the patient and family’s needs. You may at times be called upon to care for pediatric and general med/surg patients as well. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

    • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
    • License/Certifications: Current licensure on the State of Maine Board of Nursing. Current BLS Certification. Additional certifications required by department, such as but not limited to ACLS and NRP. Must be obtained/maintained within six months of hire.
    • Experience: N/A
    • All nurses assisting laboring women must have annual EFM training.
