Position Summary (This position will consist of 40 hours per week with a combination of day and evening hours such as 11am-8pm.  Weekends and holidays required.)

The Front Door Navigator position requires someone with a flexible mindset, positive attitude and who enjoys interacting with people. The Front Door Navigator involves providing consistent, quality customer service to both internal staff care team member and patients. The Front Door Navigator will actively welcome patients and invite them to check in for their appointments via the appropriate check-in process. They will be responsible for asking screening questions as people enter into the building and may also be required to scan care team member and patient temperatures. They will work with patients to enhance the patient experience and build relationships. The Front Door Navigator will inform patients of policy and procedure while supporting the patient's experience. They will aid the patient in way finding or directions to the correct waiting room areas. This is a new position and duties will be modified as our response to the COVID-19 pandemic adapts.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    1. Education: High school graduate or GED preferred
    2. License/Certifications: N/A
    3. Experience: Customer service experience and previous healthcare background strongly preferred
    4. Ability to maintain professionalism in potentially stressful situations.
    5. Excellent Verbal communication skills
    6. Proven ability to Multi Task
    7. Problem Solving and critical thinking skills a plus
