DESCRIPTION OF POSITION/RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Prepares, portions, and serves meals to patient, visitors and staff in an accurate, sanitary, efficient, and timely manner and provides additional services as needed.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred.
Ability to calculate simple mathematical equations.
Ability to read dials and documents. Ability to respond to a common inquiries and complaints from customers.
Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to convey information to others that has been learned. Ability to retain patterns of behavior once trained.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
While performing the job of Food Service Worker you must be able to be in a stationary position, prepare and position items, reach with hands and arms and communicate in a professional and courteous manner.
Occasionally the employee will be required to ascend/descend stairs, or position self such as crouching or crawling.
The employee will frequently transport packages up to 25 pounds. The employee will occasionally transport 50 pounds.
Specific vision ability is required by this job which includes close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Must be free of all communicable disease and be up to date on immunizations.
