Summary

Position Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for the daily cleaning and supplying of resident rooms, wards, nursing stations, corridors, lounges, floors, bathrooms, offices and any other areas assigned in accordance with the Standard Procedures of the Environmental Services Department and in accordance with the facility’s objectives.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    1. Education: High School diploma preferred.
    2. License/Certifications: N/A.
    3. Experience:  N/A
    4. Ability to listen and communicate well
    5. Possess a cheerful demeanor and positive attitude for dealing with elderly residents.
    6. Able to physically perform all duties (stamina).
    7. Able to read, write and speak the English language in order to read Hazard Communications/MSDS labels/warnings
