The Room Service Attendant performs a variety of tasks involving the room service delivery system. This position assists in the assembly of and delivery of patient meals in a “cook to order” setting. High patient contact is involved with this position.
Schedule: As needed (day/night shifts, during the week and weekends)
Some previous experience in food service required.
Ability to multi-task.
Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Ability to multi-task
Stands and walks most of the working day. Stoops, reaches, lifts and carries equipment and food items.
Pushes food carts.
