Performs a variety of duties involved in the treatment and prevention of injury and in the care, evaluation, and rehabilitation of local school athletes. Assists Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants in providing physical therapy services to inpatients and outpatients. Assists with clerical duties of the Rehabilitation Service Department.
$2,000.00 sign on bonus for qualified candidates.
Schedule: Will vary based on schools schedules, Monday-Saturday (flexible scheduling). Will split between hospital and school duties.
Certified by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainer
Licensed in NC as an Athletic Trainer. If new graduate, licensed within 30 days of hire.
CPR/First Aid Training certification required. If not currently certified must complete within 30 days of hire.
Work requires physical mobility and manual dexterity.
Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
