In collaboration with the Assistant Vice President of the Iredell Physician Network, the Occupational Health Medical Director provides direction regarding the development of Iredell Health System’s occupational medicine programs/operations. This includes the design and implementation of occupational medicine service offerings that support the needs of local businesses and workers.
Schedule: Basically days. Schedule will vary depending on needs of the department.
Doctorate MD or DO required
Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency ("DEA")
Minimum of 5+ years of related experience in developing and managing an Occupational Health Program in a matrixed, multi-site corporate or health system environment
DOT certified (eligible)
MRO certification (eligible) and will perform MRO functions
Proficiency in MS Word, and Outlook
Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems
