Full Time Nursing

Job Description

UltraCare Anesthesia Partners was founded in 2014 as an anesthesia services and management company doing business primarily in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. As a company we continued to grow year over year through both new contract acquisition and by acquiring other businesses. In this fashion our staff grew to approximately 100 professional staff, mostly certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) and physician anesthesiologists, as well as non-clinician office staff.

When the Covid-19 pandemic resulted in the postponement or cancellation of elective surgical procedures across the country starting in March 2020, it drastically changed the nature of our business operations. We were called upon by several hospital systems in New Jersey to assist them in their Covid-19 response as many hospitals found themselves understaffed and overwhelmed due to incredibly high patient volumes and diminished capacity of hospital staff due to illness. Our medical personnel were able to step in and run Intensive Care Units and non-critical Covid Units. These efforts continue to this day and our team of staff covering assignments such as these are approximately 18-20 people.

Our company has played a critical role in the successes of the Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program by partnering with a participating national pharmacy to provide professional staff (registered nurses, advanced practice nurses, licensed practical nurses, and pharmacists) to administer Covid-19 vaccines in phase 1A long-term care facilities. To date we have utilized over 300 medical professionals to deliver over 200,000 vaccine doses in 8 states (New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Tennessee, Kansas, Indiana, Illinois, and Texas). While this current project continues, we stand ready and able to commit more resources to the vaccination effort and have demonstrated that we have the bandwidth to deploy large numbers of personnel to multiple locations across the country in under 48 hours’ notice.

We at UltraCare aim to provide the highest quality of care and clinical excellence by:

  • Acting with integrity in the best interest of our patients & partners.
  • Promoting an environment of compassion, professionalism and collaboration.
  • Participating in the administrative responsibilities of our partners.

We achieve our mission through our commitment to our PALS Core Values:

  • Partnership-Developing and maintaining partnerships among the centers and providers. Aligning the common goals of UltraCare and these partners to benefit all stakeholders.
  • Accountability-Establishing managing partners' presence from the initial discussion & contract development. Scheduling meetings regularly between the center & our representatives to assess progress towards our shared goals.
  • Longevity-Engaging in a Solidarity Economy, rather than Economies of Scale, with minimum 5-year relationships. Ensuring UltraCare's lasting presence in the service industry by establishing long-term partnerships.
  • Service-Recruiting providers who possess a unique combination of clinical skills, character, professionalism and personality. Hand-selecting and uniquely vetting candidates with an expert review of their qualifications.
