Job Description

The Cook works with the Director in planning and preparing meals for patients and visitors to the Island Hospital Bistro with duties to include reviewing menus, special food orders, appropriate amounts to prepare, following standardized recipes with modifications as necessary for dietary restrictions, and other duties to support the operations of the Food Services department. Requirements: Must maintain an active Food Handlers permit. Minimum of one (1) year of previous cooking experience required, previous experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
