Job Description

Manages and the day-to-day activities of a functional area of a department/unit. Supervises the work of employees.  Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance to the established FMC policies, procedures and guidelines. Essential Job Functions Job Expectations and Responsibilities:  Manages the day-to-day activities of the department/area. Participates in the interviewing and selecting process. Assigns work and follows up on work on of the employees. Provides input and assists with the performance appraisal process. Monitors educations requirements of staff. Oversees orientation of new employees. Assists with the facilitation of disciplinary actions. Maintains schedule and assures staffing levels are appropriate. Assists with development, facilitation and implementation of departmental projects.
