The Clinical Manager for Western Maine Primary Care collaborates with the Practice Manager of the departments (Family Medicine and Internal Medicine) to provide daily operations, support and resource management. This role is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient clinical operations of the department while promoting customer and employee satisfaction.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred or currently matriculated in BSN program.
License/Certifications: Active RN license in the State of Maine. Current BCLS required for all. ACLS required for critical care departments. Other certifications specific to department policies may be required.
Experience: One to two years' demonstrated leadership competence or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to mentor and empower staff; to set the climate on each shift for cooperation and teamwork
Self-directed and self-motivated with a firm understanding of leadership role
Effective communicator with the ability to create strong partnerships; serves as a role model through professional behavior and open, direct communication
