EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST I: Position responsible for leading exercise classes, providing patient education, setting appropriate exercise guidelines for rehab patients, for documentation, physician follow up as necessary, and providing a safe exercise environment. Works as a team member and with the patient to enhance a healthy lifestyle and achieve patient goals. Watches monitor, takes blood pressures, leads warm up and cool down stretches. Maintains a safe exercise environment. Cognizant of patient arrhythmias and problems and aware of emergency protocol.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of EKG, GXT Interpretation.
