The Psychiatrist will be an active member of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program in beautiful Brunswick, Maine. The ACT Program is an intensive community-based outpatient treatment program and this Psychiatrist will be joining a multi-disciplinary team of providers who support eligible adults and children who may have a major mental illness diagnosis and often co-occurring disorders. The goal of the ACT Program is to improve the client’s functioning in the least restrictive setting, while strengthening family, work, school and community ties. This position is intended to be an interim per diem role.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1. Education: Graduate of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School.
2. License/Certifications: Current and valid licensure as a physician by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine. Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, or be eligible for examination by the American Board as documented by written evidence. Board Certified or board eligible in general psychiatry. Current DEA Registration Certificate. Meet other credentialing criteria defined in Spring Harbor Medical Staff By-laws.
3. Experience: 3+ years' experience inclusive residency and/or fellowship training. Completion of internship and psychiatric residency and/or fellowship training.
