Job Description


  • Position Summary
    • The Facilities Manager oversees the maintenance and upkeep of all Maine Behavioral Healthcare buildings in partnership with the Director of Facilities and Facilities staff. This position assumes over site of the roles and responsibilities of the Director of Facilities in their absence.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or related field is preferred.
    • License/Certifications: Valid driver’s license and appropriate level of automobile liability insurance. Trade license as applicable.
    • Experience: 3+ years of previous experience managing healthcare facilities operations.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of DHHS licensing, OSHA, NFPA, fire and life safety requirements, as well as other federal, state and local standards, codes and regulations.
    • Trade license as applicable.
