Provides advanced administrative support to the members of the Case Management and Hospitalist Departments. Organizes and prioritizes activities to support the members of the Case Management and Hospitalist departments.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a secretarial or administrative-support work environment. Minimum 2-3 years' unlicensed Support Experience in a Healthcare environment such as medical assistant, clerk or CNA.
Above average oral and written communication skills
Ability to problem solve
Ability to prioritize and be productive in a fast paced setting
Ability to create and maintain efficient file and record management systems to meet state law and regulatory requirements
Normal use and management of office equipment and procedures
Utilizes effective computer skills in the following areas: Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Medical Terminology
High level competence with computer applications including work processing, EMR and excel spreadsheets.
