Job Description


  • Position Summary
    • Provides advanced administrative support to the members of the Case Management and Hospitalist Departments.  Organizes and prioritizes activities to support the members of the Case Management and Hospitalist departments.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
    • License/Certifications: N/A
    • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a secretarial or administrative-support work environment. Minimum 2-3 years' unlicensed Support Experience in a Healthcare environment such as medical assistant, clerk or CNA.
    • Above average oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to problem solve
    • Ability to prioritize and be productive in a fast paced setting
    • Ability to create and maintain efficient file and record management systems to meet state law and regulatory requirements
    • Normal use and management of office equipment and procedures
    • Utilizes effective computer skills in the following areas: Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
    • High level competence with computer applications including work processing, EMR and excel spreadsheets.
