Provides leadership and has 24 hour responsibility and accountability for the successful operation of a designated unit/department/service. Participates as a member of the hospital's management team in planning, policy formulation and administrative decision making with particular reference to the role, functions and operation of the unit/department/service. Is a steward of the hospital's mission and service excellence program.
Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Institutional Management or related field approved by the American Dietetic Association.
3 to 5 years of progressive management responsibility, preferably in healthcare environment
Licensed by the State of Louisiana if a Dietitian
