Under general supervision, this position is required to maintain an organized flow of pulmonary equipment and supplies through cleaning, sterilization, stocking, and storage. This position may be asked to provide relief for office personnel as needed.
Replenishes equipment and supplies throughout the hospital.
Retrieves soiled and contaminated equipment for the Pulmonary Services Department.
Cleans, assembles, calibrates, and troubleshoots, in preparation for patient use, all equipment used by the Pulmonary Services Department.
Maintains orderly, clean and functional supplies of respiratory care products throughout the hospital.
Maintains medication security to authorized personnel only.
Follows cleaning and high level disinfection of semi-critical devices, policy and procedures.
Assists with the orientation and training of new hires.
Provides relief for office personnel as needed.
Observes and follows all hospital and department infection control guidelines during all procedures.
Observes and follows all departmental and hospital policies and procedures
