PSYCHOLOGIST-DOCTORAL BARIATRIC: The purpose of this position is provision of direct service conducting psychological evaluations for TriHealth bariatric surgery candidates, along with provision of psychological reports, consultation regarding psychological readiness for surgery, and professional expertise for TriHealth Bariatric Surgery physicians and program staff. Duties include provision of clinical interviews, administration of psychological tests, scoring of tests and writing psychological reports based on test results and results of the clinical interviews. Additional duties will include individual, relationship and family counseling, referral to community agencies and service providers, service coordination and presentations, Program Development and group counseling leadership. The Psychologist in this position will also work 2.5 days in Sleep Medicine providing behavioral, solution focused, and goal oriented Psychological intervention visits. He/She will also develop a sleep support group program, and a smoking cessation program, train staff in CBTI individual/group services, train as needed for sleep fellowship, provide community presentations, and assist with relevant research and/or QI. Performs other clinical, administrative, educational, and/or research duties (commensurate with training and ethical scope of practice) as needed and directed by the Bariatric Program Supervisor. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Doctorate Degree Other Psychology Other EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years Professional Other Psychology or counseling SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Computer apptitude, addictions, psychological assessment including standardized tests, dianosis, service planning, and conditions that may impact social, behavioral, occupational, and emotional addaptive functioning.
