We are looking for an Endoscopy Tech (CNA) to join our team at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta. This position is 36 hrs/week and includes call responsibilities. Job Description: This position’s core responsibilities include scope cleaning, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory. In this role the CNA will assist with setting up rooms for procedures and will provide patient care. The ideal candidate is meticulous in their work and attentive to detail. In this unique position, our ideal candidate will be one that can shift gears rapidly, being able to provide top notch patient care, but also able to perform administration and clerical tasks for the department. If you are looking for an opportunity to blend your previous administrative experience with patient care, this is a great opportunity and we want to hear from you!  Provides patient care under the supervision of an RN in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.   Performs basic patient care activities within the scope of practice. Assists patients with meeting their emotional, physical and spiritual needs.   Greets patients and visitors. Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls. Calls codes, pages, and overhead announcements as requested.   Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.   Assists with keeping unit and procedure rooms stocked, clean, neat and orderly.  Assisting with admission and discharge process of patients. The ideal candidate will have:   Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) and is an active and in good standing on the State of Maine CNA registry  Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask   Must have the ability to work independently, effectively manage time and good problem solving skills.    Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 Scheduled Work Shift: Variable (United States of America) Job Exempt: No Benefits: Supporting all aspects of our employees’ wellness – physical, emotional and financial – is a critical component of being a great place to work.
