Job Description

The Patient Appointment Coordinator assigned to the Call Center is responsible for performing telephonic patient appointment scheduling, patient pre-registration, confirming appointments, and computer data entry. This position provides excellent customer service in each interaction reflective of the Island Hospital Promise.  Requirements: Minimum HS Diploma or equivalent required, advanced education encouraged.  Previous experience in a physician clinic setting strongly preferred.
