The Occupational Health RN provides occupational health and safety services to client companies utilizing methods consistent with AAOHN guidelines, the Maine State Nurse Practice Act, APIC Guidelines, CDC Guidelines, and Maine State Bureau of Health Guidelines.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Maine State Board of Nursing required. Community Health education, Public Health, or Public Health Administration or related field preferred.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in clinical program development and nursing management. Minimum of three years' experience in the following areas desired:
Occupational Health and Safety/Public Health
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Computer skills desired.
Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT) certified within 6 months of hire.
Urine Drug Screening (UDS) certified within 6 months of hire.
Audiometric Testing Certified within 6 months of hire.
