Position Summary

The Staffing and Scheduling Coordinator collaborates with Nurse Managers to develop staffing schedules designed to meet anticipated patient needs, incorporating the educational and practice management needs of nursing staff and produces documentation needed to generate a payroll. Also collaborates with Charge Nurses throughout the day in order to coordinate and allocate personnel resources to meet changing patient needs.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    1. Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred. Bachelors or Associates degree in health related field, business, or Human Resources Management is strongly preferred.
    2. License/Certification: N/A
    3. Experience: 1-2 years' recent experience working in an acute care or medical office setting is preferred.
    4. Basic knowledge of Labor practices regarding overtime, hours worked, and differentials among other practices.
