Summary

  • Position Summary
    • The Residential Program Registered Nurse (RN) ensures that clients receive appropriate treatment and services and that such is documented in accordance with agency policy and regulatory standards. Job functions include client assessment and treatment coordination, as well as oversight of Residential Program medication-related services. Other duties may be assigned in accordance with overall program goals of assisting clients in developing and maintaining the skills needed to be successful in the appropriate level of care and/or successful transitions to the community. The Senior Director of Intensive Services will provide administrative supervision for this position. MBH’s Chief Nursing Officer or designee will oversee nursing practice.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: See "License/Certifications"
    • License/Certifications: Maine licensure as a registered professional nurse. Participate in the Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) training within 30 days of hire and become eligible to train new CRMAs when CRMA instructor training is available Current Maine driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of current acceptable motor vehicle liability insurance required.
    • Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred. Psychiatric or home health experience preferred.
