Maintains 24 hour accountability for departments/programs. Provides leadership and strategic direction consistent with the Corporate and Department/Program Mission,Vision and Values.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Current RN license to practice in North Carolina (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license). Master’s degree in appropriate healthcare field from an accredited college or university within 6 months of hire. Professional nursing certification strongly preferred. At least three years of progressive leadership responsibility in healthcare. Thorough knowledge of leadership/management theories and applications. Positive and effective interpersonal skills. Knowledge and skills of motivation and group dynamics.
